This was an adorable small (79 pieces, approximate postcard dimensions) handcut puzzle from Hoefnagel, labeled “mystery hand-cut puzzle”. No image came with it, but it assembled easily, with good chunks of color. The image was of course right up my alley — midcentury modern with a poodle! Plus, seasonally appropriate. I wish I knew who the cutter was! There’s a signed piece but I can’t quite make it out — Carol Satersley? Carol Saterley?
update 2024/02/12 – Browsing around on Rebecca T’s puzzle blog, I found a post for this same puzzle! “Christmas Sophisticate” by Carol Ottenberg.
