Hotel Melrose Lobby by Perkins Harnly

I really enjoyed this 250-piece puzzle from Puzzly (via Hoefnagel). It was a fast solve, with a mix of traditional puzzle pieces and whimsies, like the two Wentworth puzzles I just did — but I enjoyed the puzzling experience more. I think the wood was a bit thicker than in those two Wentworths (they have since started using thicker wood for their puzzles). Also, I really enjoyed the image — very lovely sort of Art Deco color palette in the art by Perkins Harnly (1901-1986). The formal setting and classical perspective (and the pink!) reminded me a bit of the Bridgerton puzzle I did (Manjit Thapp), as well as the eeBoo series of paintings by Vasilisa Romanenko (Alchemist’s Library, etc.).
