Wow, this was so fun. Like a collage puzzle, with many discrete elements, but in a scene. Also, very interesting for the perspective — since it’s a three-dimensional room using classical perspective, there were ways to assemble the architectural elements based on size, angle, etc.
This was my first Laurence King (that I remember) and the quality was fine for a cardboard puzzle — no false fits (perhaps due to the image rather than puzzle cut). There were a lot of connected pieces when I first opened it up! But they didn’t need tearing — just separating. I did really love that the puzzle was packaged in a paper envelope! instead of a plastic bag. Hooray! There was a poster included, but I just used the back of the box to scan for placing the various elements. The actual puzzle is a landscape orientation, maybe 30″ across by …. 20″ deep? (guesstimating) but the image on the back is square, so there was some distortion.
Anyway, it was an easy puzzle to assemble, with lots of bright colors and fun patterns, and since my brain needs easiness and fun these days.
