Just finished an amazing laser-cut puzzle by Puzzly, 527 pieces and really fabulous whimsies — including a super large multi-piece whimsy. All themed! The artist is “Lee Topp”, who is described on Puzzly’s Freddie Mercury puzzle page as:
Lee Topp is a south coast based mixed media artist taking inspiration from Music and Legends. Influenced by popular culture and artistically by Picasso, Salvador Dali, Roy Lichtenstein and Jackson Pollock. He loves nothing more to experiment, combining different techniques, media and colours to create some real talking pieces.
Due to online popularity he has branched into creating unique commission pieces and has been lucky enough for some of his subjects to have seen and even sign his art. Check out more at his Facebook group Topp Pics.
In addition to many, many fabulous themed whimsies, the puzzle was pretty challenging, due to angles of the cuts and the Jackson Pollock-style splatter background.
