Some of the old brick was spalling, so we had the chimney rebuilt, with an increased height to improve drafting from the fireplace. 1995 rubber membrane roof
Young Roofers installed a new style of roof — rubber membrane. Per 2020’s roofer (which was also the previous roofer), the rubber membrane was installed on top of the old asphalt & gravel roof. Per property card: 1995/11/16 Permit BLDG96-278 type “RE”. Remodel, $12,000; inspection date 5/22/1996; completion date 5/22/1996; reroof. (source: Property Card, 2013/06/11)
