1968 – The back bathroom was added in the 1968 renovations, with laundry room & adjoining hall, and the two new bedrooms & their adjoining hall.
2012 renovations: Added heated floor, ecofriendly tile, ecofriendly over-window light, temporary sink, no vanity. Switched toilet from outside wall side to other side. Made hallway closet smaller, and created privacy alcove for toilet. Fixed broken glass windows between the two bathrooms & added a frosted glass for privacy & light.
2015 – Bill Johnson, local woodworker on Strong Street, built and installed a barn door for the skinny entrance b/w back bedroom and back bathroom. The barn door hardware (Rockler Hardware) was separate.
2020 – Shower door handle, original to the 1968 bathroom, had become brittle & snapped off. It was difficult to replace, due to the original screws being rusted, but with a lot of heavy duty oil we finally did it!
2025: Added cabinets, sink vanity, & trim that matches original part of house (January); added toto bidet seat (May).
