Teagno did this work, late March 2017. The entry hall tile was very similar (but not identical!) to the kitchen tile, but I tried and tried and could not find either of those tiles. So, we went with something, again, similar.
When we had moved in, a couple of the tiles at the front door were cracked. It turned out that during the previous few years, with the drainage not properly cleared at the end of the driveway, water would pool at the front door, and there was thus some water damage. So, we couldn’t just replace the tile; portions of the subfloor that had damage were also replaced.
The new tile is Florida Tile, Taconic Slate — 25183 Red Ridge, cutting 12×12 down to 8×8 to have same tile size as in kitchen and before. The tile dealer was in West Springfield, a referral from Teagno.
