At long last, we are putting in cabinets (instead of free-standing open shelving) and a sink vanity (instead of a plain sink).
Jay Watson’s crew are doing the work — I met w/ Jay Tuesday Sept. 19 to figure it out. Timing will depend on weather, as they are also trying to get some of their outdoor projects finished.
- Ikea Godmorgon Odensvik / sink cabinet with 2 drawers, brown stained ash effect, Dalskär faucet. 40.5 x 19.25 x 25.25″ –
- Ikea Godmorgon high cabinet, brown stained ash effect, 15.75 x 12 5/8 x 75 5/8″ – three cabinets
to do
- order matching hardware for toilet paper, towel hangers, etc.
- order new mirror
- fix the spackling hole by the heated floor controller
- will likely cut into the window trim to mount the three cabinets
- will likely build additional bump-out to support the back of the sink cabinet
- add a string of lighting BEHIND the cabinets to light through the windows of the other bathroom
- attach the toto bidet toilet top
- will need to move the light fixture to center better
- PAINT for bathroom for bump-out …
- will get to store bathroom scale underneath the cabinets!
- What to do with the bamboo shelving unit currently in that room? Put a small stool there instead? or hang a towel rack …? (heated towel rack!)
