We brought in two fun new midcentury modern-style cat-themed light switch plates.
These replaced the previous light plates — silvery metal, an attempt to capture something of the chrome style of the rusting plates that were here when we moved in 2012 — but the metal wasn’t holding up well, either, with perpetual tarnishing / stain.
