So, thanks to Hoefnagel, I finally got to try to a Puzzle Michèle Wilson. The puzzle pieces are thin, and the puzzle itself was 80 pieces, and quite small. The frame is basically interlocking, and the interior of the puzzle is mostly push-fit, some color-line cutting. Cutely, the box is labeled as “puzzle mystère” (that sounds so much better than “mystery puzzle”), without a picture of the artwork on the front — but, it’s not really a mystery, because it says “Klimt” in big letters on the front of the box, and on back of the box shows a partially assembled image — one so famous that even I, not exactly an art studies major, recognized it as “oh yeah, that’s the portrait of Adele something.” Ce n’est pas un mystère, she said, dredging up some high school French. Anyway, I’m very happy to have had the opportunity to do a PMW.
