Enjoyed this whimsy-filled puzzle of Havana, from Mosaic Puzzles.
The image provenance is not clear to me — it is listed as “(c) 2021 Assaf Frank” — but I have seen very many similar or identical images, so I wonder if this is either a common framing, or a photoshop of a public domain [or Internet-appropriated] image?
Here are some of versions of this I’ve found:
- Robert Harding, “Classic car scene on the streets of Havana, Cuba, West Indies, Caribbean, Central America” — implies a modern photo of “classic cars” … or is it a classic scene?
- Mosaic Puzzle, Streets of Havana, (c) 2021 Assaf Frank — really similar to the Robert Harding above, but with different color cars and different license plates; but both have the shades with green designs on the right-most bottom arches
- Travel and Leisure, Pantone Color of the Year 2023 Viva Magenta — photo: “Mabohh / Getty Images”
- Culture Trip, similar shot, but angle seems a little different (I need to verify), there are people, shades are up … a re-creation of a popular shot? or photoshop?
